June E. Drewry has extensive international experience in the insurance and financial services industry at the senior management level, as a Corporate CIO, Business Unit CIO and as President of a third party administration subsidiary. She also holds Board positions with a high tech company, an information management not-for-profit organization and an insurance industry data standards not-for profit organization. June has particular expertise in change management, business/IT alignment, strategy implementation, and managing IT as a business within the business. She is a dynamic, decisive leader with a high level of energy and passion for results, who can adapt quickly to diverse businesses, companies and cultures.
June also serves as a Director on the Board of Click Commerce, an internet company that provides extranet solutions for channel management, collaborative commerce, and compliance automation. She is also a Director on the Board of the Society for Information Management, having served in the past as a Chapter President, a Member-at-Large on the SIM International Board of Directors, and President of SIM International. June also serves as a Board member for ACORD, a data standards body for the insurance industry.
Throughout her career, June held several CIO positions, working in both centralized and decentralized organizations, each time with fast and sustainable turnarounds. June developed her leadership skills running all aspects of information technology organizations in medium and large sized financial services companies. While June's career has largely focused on information technology, she also had other strategic responsibilities during her career such as corporate planning and knowledge management.
As President of Systematized Benefits Administrators, Inc. (SBA), June completed a turnaround program for the Aetna Life Insurance and Annuity Company in Hartford, Connecticut. SBA is a Third Party Administrator (TPA), primarily in the business of handling the administrative responsibilities for pension plans. This P&L experience adds a dimension to June's career in information technology. Having walked in her business partners shoes, she is better able understand their challenges and needs.
June earned her BA degree in Mathematics with a Business minor from Caldwell College for Women. She earned several awards throughout her career for innovative business use of technology and leadership in information technology.
June and her husband, Robert, split their time between New Jersey and Florida. |
