Jon Meyer is a seasoned IT leader with over twenty years of experience in applications development, infrastructure management, and technology consulting.

As Vice-President and Manager of Application Development and Support for First Citizens Bank & Trust, he leads technology development for Core Deposits, Branch, Channels (Online Banking, ATMs, IVR), Electronic Payments (ACH, Debit Card, Credit Card), and Wealth technology and systems.

Prior to First Citizens, Jon was a Director with Blue Cross and Blue Shield of North Carolina where he led an applications development organization that created and supported sales and marketing and e-business applications.  He also was the CIO for a mid-sized technology company based in Research Triangle Park.  In this role, he worked directly with a venture organization to obtain capital to launch a new line of business.  Jon began his career with Accenture where he was a Senior Manager focusing on healthcare and SAP. 

Jon holds a B.A. in Public Policy from Duke University.
