  Welcome to the Portland Chapter of the Society for Information Management (SIM), serving the Oregon and Southwest Washington area. We help busy IS executives by providing technology resources, contacts, regular meetings, and the benefits of belonging to SIM International.
The SIM Portland chapter is an organization of senior level information technology leaders who want to remain abreast of industry trends. It provides a venue to network with peers who are leaders in other information technology organizations in Oregon and Southwest Washington.

Strategic Partners

  RLF is SIM’s leadership development program. Participants discover their own unique authentic leadership style and voice which enable them to achieve influence, power and success in their personal and professional lives. Their executive sponsors report increased effectiveness, decision making, delegation and capacity to get work done through others. RLF is in its 16th year with over 2300 graduates.
 
  The mission of International GMIS is to provide an organizational structure and network with associated activities, which may be used by all State, County, and Local government agencies and educational institutions which are members in order to help them in their information and automation endeavors and with associated projects and problems. www.gmis.org.
 
  BDPA, a national non-profit organization, was founded as the Black Data Processing Associates in Philadelphia in 1975. We are dedicated to the professional development of our members and the promotion of Information Technology in our community.
We provide professional and personal enrichment through monthly program meetings and other activities. Education, training and professional development programs are some of the strategies actively used by the association in reaching these objectives.
 
  Executive women in business participate in interactive forums and build intentional relationships™ through GlobalEXECWomen's thought leadership community. GlobalEXECWomen members represent large public corporations and entrepreneurial endeavors where they influence billions of dollars of business investment.   The Information Technology Senior Management Forum (ITSMF) is the only national organization dedicated exclusively to cultivating executive talent among African-American IT professionals.
