Tony is an Infrastructure Architect in the Advanced Engineering group at BNY Mellon. He is currently focused on Unified Communications and what it means to BNY Mellon over the course of the next five years. His background is in engineering and supporting messaging and collaboration platforms, and is studying how these platforms will evolve with the advent of social networking tools and new mobility devices in the enterprise.
Tony has 18 years of experience in Information Technology, starting out as a trainer and quickly shifting into enterprise network services. At BNY Mellon, he has been deeply involved in the multi-year integration activities surrounding the infrastructure of The Bank of New York and Mellon Financial. Prior to joining BNY Mellon, Tony gained valuable data center infrastructure experience and built vendor relationships at both Alcoa, Inc. and Eaton Electrical in Pittsburgh. He is a graduate of Carnegie Mellon University, most recently obtaining his MSIT from the Heinz College in 2009.
