As Vice President of Technology and Chief Information Officer, Ms. Fedorka is charged with establishing and implementing strategic direction in all areas of information technology and software engineering. She is a member of the Senior Executive Team reporting directly to the President and CEO and actively participates in all business & strategic planning for the company.
She is an external customer facing CIO who brings over 20 years of both technical and operational experience to this position and is the first CIO in the 129 year company. Currently, her overall responsibilities as CIO straddle those of a CIO, COO and CTO. She has served in many different business and technology facing roles within Ansaldo STS over her 11 year tenure, among them Interim VP of one of three Business Units, Director of Business Process Improvement and Director of Corporate Services. Prior to her appointment as CIO, Stacey "transformed the IT organization from a 'break-fix' organization to one of a business partner and strategic enabler" as Director of Information Technology.
Ms. Fedorka was named the 2008 Pittsburgh Chief Information Officer of the Year. This honor recognized her leadership, innovation and creativity in planning and deploying information technology.
Ms. Fedorka holds a Bachelor of Administration degree in Political Science and International Affairs from the Indiana University in Pennsylvania, and a Master of Public Administration and International Affairs from the University of Pittsburgh. She also holds a Master Certificate from Duquesne University in Executive Leadership.
Ms. Fedorka is a member of the Greater Pittsburgh CIO Group, Pittsburgh Technology Council, Carnegie Science Center Advisory Council, CIO Magazine's CIO Executive Council and Dell's first Executive CIO Advisory Panel sponsored by Dell's President of Large Enterprise. Stacey is a past Board member of the Executive Women's Golf Association and recognized in Cambridge's Who's Who Registry.
Ms. Fedorka has lived abroad for over four years in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil and travels frequently throughout Western Europe. She speaks, reads and writes Portuguese, Spanish and Italian. |
