Ms. Beckman's career spans over forty years in IT, both in Corporate and entrepreneurial settings. She has been a project and program manager, systems developer and has managed teams responsible for systems development, project management, application help desk production support, and quality assurance system and environment testing.Currently Ms. Beckman is the Senior Professional Development Manager for Aetna, overseeing the functions related to staffing, career development, performance assessment and management, training and compensation for a staff of over 600 developers and application and information architects.
She holds a BS degree in Education with a concentration in Mathematics from the University of Connecticut. She is affiliated with SHRM, HRACC and PMI and is a certified trainer in Meyers-Briggs Type Indication.
