As XL Capital's Chief Technology Officer, Neil leads the Enterprise Services organization providing IT infrastructure, business continuity, disaster recovery, vendor management, application development/ integration and offshore business processing services to 80 offices located in 26 countries.
Prior to joining XL, Neil was with SIAC (Securities Industry Automation Corporation), an IT Outsourcer owned by the American and New York Stock Exchanges where he managed the relationship with the Amex providing $80 million of IT services including application development, infrastructure operations and telecommunications. He also led the post merger integration of the NYSE and Archipelago (Arca) IT organizations, trading applications and infrastructure and led 350 professionals providing computer operations, facilities infrastructure, technology procurement and security services to the NYSE.
Neil played a key role in recovering the NYSE and the Amex businesses in the aftermath of 9/11 supporting the federal government's initiative to restore the financial markets quickly. He then led efforts to enhance the NYSE and Amex's business continuity and disaster recovery infrastructure and improve the resiliency of the public telecommunications infrastructure.
Neil holds an M.S. in Management of Technology from Polytechnic University and a B.S. in Mechanical Engineering from Rutgers University. |
