Adam Gorski is a Global Vice President of Information Technology at Cookson Electronics since May 2007 - $1.2 Billion company with over 80 locations around the world. Despite the recent challenging economy Adam managed to lower the overall IT cost by $2.5million in 2.5 year by changing the IT strategy, standardizing systems, renegotiating major contracts with key vendors, forming partnerships with other division of the parent company and other companies, topgrading key functions, investing in knowledge workers, and concentrating on rapid execution of mission critical projects.

Prior to joining Cookson Electronics, Adam was:
  • Vice President and CIO at Latex International, a Connecticut based company manufacturing high end latex mattresses and pillows from 2005 to 2007. Responsibility varied from a typical IT system to manufacturing process automation and improvements.
  • Director and CIO at Inline Plastics Corp., a Connecticut based company manufacturing plastic packaging for the food industry from 2000 to 2005 In addition to his IT responsibilities at Inline Plastics Corp. Adam was also responsible for NextGen packaging product development project for the Produce market while managing the Customer Service and National Distribution and Logistics functions.
  • Various position at The Stanley Works based in New Britain, CT from 1991 to 2000. His last position was a Global IT Manager. The last assignment was a $15MM Y2K project to remediate over 8,000 PCs, Servers, and other network systems and devices in 214 locations worldwide. Adam completed the project 6 months before the due date and more 30% below the budget.
  • He also taught Information Technology classes at CCSU and Tunxis Community College.
Adam earned his MBA Degree in Strategic Management and Finance from the University of Hartford and Bachelor of Science Degree in International Management and Information Technology from Central Connecticut State University.
