Troy D. Thomas is KeyCorp's Chief Security & Privacy Officer (CSPO) and leads the Corporate Security group reporting to Al Coppolo, Chief Information Officer for KeyCorp. The Corporate Security group is comprised of Corporate Information Security, Physical Security, Privacy, Corporate Continuity & Recovery and Incident Response, Information Governance and Security Strategy & Governance. Troy has dotted line responsibility for: Corporate Investigations & Fraud and Third Party Service Provider Oversight. In addition to his CSPO responsibilities, Troy is also the Chief Administrative Officer (CAO) for Key Enterprise Technology and Key Enterprise Operations. In his CAO capacity, Troy has responsibility for Key’s Technology and Operations ongoing risk management, regulatory interactions, compliance in addition to other administrative management activities. Troy is responsible for an annual Corporate Security operating budget of $17MM with an additional $14MM for security infrastructure expensed and capitalized investments. There are approximately 145 people within the Corporate Security group (excluding dotted-line responsibilities).

Troy is President and Chairman of the Board of Directors for the Northeast Ohio chapter of the Society for Information Management (NEOSIM) professional organization made up of North East Ohio Chief Information Officers. In June 2003, Troy accepted a position on the Board of Directors for Lawrence School, a non-profit school catering to the educational needs of children with learning differences. He is currently the 1st Vice President of the Lawrence School Board and a member of the Executive Committee of the board.
