Terri Rini Barber has been the Vice President and Chief Information Officer for Southwest General Hospital since 2008. From 1997-2007, she was the Director of Information Technology Operations for the eastern Cleveland Clinic community hospitals. Prior to that, she held various management positions at both Hillcrest and Huron hospitals.
Ms. Barber received a Bachelor's degree in Education from Bowling Green State University, and a Master's degree from Cleveland State University. Ms. Barber holds professional certifications as a Project Management Professional (PMP), and as a Certified Professional in Health Information and Management Systems (CPHIMS).
Ms. Barber was a member of the faculty for the Cleveland Clinic Center for Learning and Leadership from 2003-2007, and was an Adjunct Professor at Baldwin Wallace College where she taught in their healthcare MBA program from 2004-2009. She is currently a member of the faculty at Ursuline College.
Ms Barber is a member of the College of Health Information Executives (CHIME) and is on the board of Northern Ohio Health Information and Management Systems Society (NOHIMSS) where she served as president in 2008-2009.
