Jerry joined CBIZ, Inc. in September, 1998 and has served as the President and Chief Operating of since February, 2000. Prior to becoming President and COO, Jerry served as the Vice President of Mergers & Acquisitions for CBIZ. CBIZ is a leading provider of accounting, insurance and other professional business services to clients throughout the U.S. CBIZ is a public company listed on the New York Stock Exchange, recorded revenue of approximately $740 million in 2009, employs approximately 5,700 associates and conducts business in more than 150 offices throughout the U.S.

Prior to joining CBIZ, Jerry was a partner with the law firm of Baker & Hostetler, Cleveland, Ohio where he practiced from September, 1987 until September, 1998. While at Baker & Hostetler, Jerry concentrated his practice in the areas of mergers and acquisitions and general corporate law.

Jerry received his Bachelors of Business Administration from Kent State University in 1983 with majors in Finance and Marketing. Jerry also received a Juris Doctor degree from Case Western Reserve University in 1987.

Jerry is an active member of Young Presidents Organization, an international organization of business presidents dedicated to building strong leaders, serves as a member of the National Athletic Directors Council at Kent State University, and is an active volunteer in various capacities with the United Way.

Jerry lives in Brecksville with his wife of 26 years Rose and his sons Jerry III (20), Joe (18) and Jack (15).
