George A. Dufour was appointed as SR VP, Chief Technology Officer of CBIZ in August of 2001. As Chief Technology Officer, Mr. Dufour is responsible for all internal corporate technology and MIS activities and initiatives, including software development, hardware procurement and rationalization, systems security, internet and intranet activities and communications networks.

Since joining CBIZ Mr. Dufour has instituted and coordinated many major activities to reduce operating expenses and develop and stabilize appropriate technology platforms to support the growth of enterprise and individual business unit revenue, product flexibility and client base. With the appropriate implementation of new applications, infrastructure, integration and data analysis tools the organization has access to information at a greater level and detail than they ever had before.

While serving in his Chief Technology Officer role Mr. Dufour is also functioning as the HIPAA Compliance Officer and the coordinator of the Corporate Compliance Committee.

Mr. Dufour is a member of the Northeast Ohio Systems Information Management group and the National IT Alliance organization. Mr. Dufour was recognized as the Northeast Ohio Software Association (NEOSA) 2007 CIO of the year for large companies. Mr. Dufour also serves on the Board of Director's for the National Information Technology Alliance.
