Brian Kelley is in his 20th year as Chief Information Officer at Portage County, Ohio and is responsible for the County's information technology operations. Mr. Kelley holds a Master of Public Administration Degree from Kent State University. He completed the Certified Government Chief Information Officer Program at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. Mr. Kelley is an adjunct instructor with the Justice Studies and Political Science Department at Kent State University and teaches undergraduate justice studies courses and a public sector IT management online graduate course. He is also an associate lecturer at the University of Akron where he teaches an undergraduate course in computer and information security. He is honored to have received Government Management Information Science's 2006 Professional Award for Outstanding Professionalism, Dedication, and Performance, and the 2009 CIO of the Year Award for Government by NEOSA
