Milt is a founding member and Chair of the PMI Chicagoland Executive Council (http://www.pmi-chicagoland.org/page/chapter/outreach/executive). Founded in June 2006, the PMI Chicagoland Chapter Executive Council is a group of invited executives from various Chicago-area industries who share ideas, perspectives and best practices for improving the management of projects in organizations and the role of the project management profession.

Milt is a highly successful IT executive with over thirty (34) years of Information Technology experience, Milt joined Abbott Laboratories in 2006 as Director, IT Planning and Enterprise PMO. Milt's primary responsibilities are to provide leadership to Abbott's IT innovation, strategic planning, business planning, supplier management, and IT product evaluation functions. IT strategic planning function includes directing efforts in aligning Abbott's IT strategy with business strategies, formulating and communicating Technology and Application architecture roadmaps as well as identifying IT trends and business opportunities.

Milt is a sought after motivational speaker, coach and mentor and has helped thousands advance their careers in the IT Industry. In 2007, Milt founded Blacks Gone Geek a social networking initiative dedicated to promoting Blacks in Technology. Milt uses blogs, podcasts, RSS feeds, Facebook, LinkedIn, Groupsite.com, Yahoogroups, Twitter and his web site, (www.blacksgonegeek.org), to stay connected with an online community that has grown to over 5,000 IT professionals, teachers, executives and technology enthusiasts.
