| Daniel H. Gillison, Jr. is the National Director, Public and Private Sector Verticals for Sprint. In this role he is responsible for setting the strategy for Verticals such as State and Local Government, Transportation and Distribution, Construction and Field Services, Manufacturing and Utilities. These Verticals generate over $2B Dollars of Revenue for Sprint on an annual basis. In his role Dan also manages relationships with many external organizations, some of those are National Association of State CIO's, International Association of Chiefs of Police, he is also the Co-Chair for the U.S. Conference of Mayors Business Council. Dan was instrumental in developing Sprint's Grant Funding Practice; this has resulted in over $25 million dollars in opportunity for Sprint. He has over 29 years in Corporate America with Xerox Corporation, XO Communications, Nextel and Sprint. Dan was a leading executive at Xerox where he held several progressive positions in sales, national program development, sales planning, change management, human resources and Leadership development and Training. He started his career as a News Reporter for NBC affiliate WRBT-TV in Louisiana. He received a BA in Liberal Arts and Communications from Southern University in 1978 and currently resides in Northern Virginia with his wife Barbara, and their two children, Jasmine and Daniel III. |
