Jim Lamoin
Mr. Lamoin spent nearly forty years in the Information Technology field, and has held many IT Executive positions in manufacturing, financial services, and consulting businesses. His background includes extensive experience managing large system development projects, implementing change in large organizations, re-engineering processes, and application outsourcing.

During his twenty years at United Technologies Corporation, Mr. Lamoin held numerous IT management and Executive Positions, including Director of Application Development for Hamilton Standard, Director of Application Development Strategy for United Technologies Corporation, Director of Information Technology Strategy for Carrier, CIO for Norden Systems, and CIO for Sikorsky Aircraft. He also was an Assistant Vice President of IT for Aetna Financial Services.

Mr. Lamoin has held key positions with the consulting firms of Covansys, where he was the National Program Manager for their Application Outsourcing Business and chair of the Management Advisory Services practice, and with CSC Consulting, where he specialized in application outsourcing.

Mr. Lamoin has been involved with The Society for Information Management (SIM) for nearly twenty years. He led the start-up team to create the Central Connecticut chapter and was president of that chapter for two years. He was the Central Connecticut Chapter representative on the SIM International Board for twelve years, was Vice President of Chapter Relations for SIM International for two years, and has served on numerous committees both at the local and national level. Since his retirement eight years ago, Mr. Lamoin has stayed active in SIM at the national level with Regional Leadership Forum and Chapter Start-Up activities
