| Matt specializes in the recruitment of technology, professional services and board-level executives across a variety of industries and geographies. He recruits technology officers at the CIO and CTO level, as well as Partner and C-level professionals for business and technology services firms. Matt also has significant expertise in building boards for distressed/Chapter 11 entities. Based in Washington, D.C., Matt has helped technology and services clients build or expand their business into the public sector (global, federal, state and local). Recent Client Experience Matt recently recruited the Chief Information Officer for a major land-grant and research institution. He also worked with large publicly traded research and insight firm to identify a new head of consulting and also recruited the head of information technology due diligence and consulting for a major private equity firm. Working with a top-tier business process outsourcing company, Matt identified a new Chief Operating Officer. He's also conducted several executive assessments at the Chief Information Officer and direct reports level. Previous Experience Prior to joining Russell Reynolds Associates, Matt spent several years as a consultant at another international executive search firm. Before beginning his career in executive search, Matt was part of the startup team of a successful dot.com, a director of research for a distinguished Washington research group and a public school teacher. Education Matt received his B.A. in political science from Yale University. |
