| Mr. John currently serves as a member of the Advisory Board to the FBI. Prior to this position,Mr. John served as a Special Adviser to the Director of the FBI , and as part of that position Mr. John served as Chief Information Officer for the FBI. He currently has affiliations with a number of enterprises, in both the public and private sectors, as a Strategic Adviser or Board member. Included in these affiliations are "C" level executive development assignments. He brings to these affiliations a proven track record in achieving broad-based business and enterprise results by leading change directly and through leveraging the use of information technology to create value.He is recognized as a leader who advocates , teamwork and a continual development of leaders within the context of teams ,resulting in peak levels of performance and achievement. He writes and speaks extensively across the country on leadership Mr. John's previous assignments include Managing Director ,Information and Communications Systems, worldwide the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saint;,Vice President, the Scott Paper Company; Director of Information and Communication Systems Development and Operations General Mills, and Senior IT roles at both Honeywell Inc. and Thiokol Chemical Corporation. Mr. Johns has been a long time member of the Society of Information Management holding many leadership roles including,Vice President of the Leadership Development Institute and president of the Society.The society.has honored him with their SIMone Award."in recognition and gratitude for his outstanding leadership and commitment to SIM and the IT profession " Other professional experience includes,Board of Governors of Universal Product Code,member of Xerox Executive Advisory Forum,:Industry Advisory Board to Wharton School,University of Pennsylvania,he has also guest lecturer at a number of universities across the country , including Wharton; University of Minnesota,Brigham Young University , and Utah State University..Utah State has awarded him their Lifetime Achievement Award. He holds MBA and B.S.degrees from Utah State University and has completed Executive Management Programs at the Wharton school,University of Pennsylvania. |
